Panchayat Web Series – Review

Authentic, in one word. Be it concept, story, acting, dialogues or location, complete series justified its title by portraying it in the way a real village story should have been portrayed.

Its not special, but that is its specialty.

A perfect story of an individual discovering himself in isolation of a village life.

POSITIVES

Realistic acting by perfectly casted actors.Be it Jeetu,Raghubir Ji,Neena Ji or even Chandan and Faisal, each one of them made this series worth watching.Cinematography is also worth appreciating with a perfect balance of keeping it simple yet captivating.

NEGATIVES

Somewhere down the line it felt that story and screenplay lost it track by unnecessarily stretching and including plots and stuffs (like in episode 6), but many can relate with those plots as the same time. Slow pace is something which this show and story demands so thats very much justified.

WHO SHOULD WATCH THIS

Anyone coming from a village background can relate to all its subtle dialogues and situations. Even someone who hasn't experienced a village life (like me) will also love this series provided his/her taste for some realistic cinema.

WHO SHOULDN'T WATCH THIS

Anyone looking for something special,or for some motivational stuff from its story might feel a little disappointing as there is nothing special in it, but on the contrary that is its specialty. Its simple and subtle presentation.
