Masaba Masaba Review

A fictional story inspired and played by real-life mother-daughter pair, Neena Gupta and Masaba Gupta. A well-written story with decent screenplay and cinematography. Neena Gupta is flawless as always and she is a major crowd puller for this series.

There are some specific instances of the show where there are subtle comments and satire on Bollywood, where a few only dare. This makes the show an interesting watch

POSITIVES

Daring attempt to laugh at their own. Though it is a fictional story, it has considerable overlap with Neena and Masaba's real-life story.

NEGATIVES

There are a lot of scopes to improve the screenplay. Some unnecessary cringe-worthy scenes could have been avoided as they do not contribute anything to the story.
