Penalty Review

An immature effort of film-making. A good effort with budget constraints but lacks originality.

Watching this movie, you will feel like it is the first project of a student of film production.

When we are beginners our writings are so much inspired by our favorite prose or poem that it looks like a copy. The same is the issue with this movie.

Few sequences are copies of “Chak de! India” and even from “Shaurya”. Some sequences are just as good or bad as TikTok videos. The dribbling and shooting scenes are no less than amateur football skills.

There is nothing new to offer by this movie and definitely not up to level of OTT platforms like Netflix.

If this movie is released in an amateur movie category, we can be less critical in the review. Otherwise, this movie is just a collection of copied scenes where makers have tried too hard to put these scenes in sequence to make sense.
